Altar Society
The altar society is a group of dedicated women of Saint Boniface who maintain the ceremonial objects used in worship. They ensure that the church environment is conducive for worship and prayer. Members of the Altar Society care for items used during Mass, and decorate the church for the various liturgical seasons. They make sure linens are washed. They clean sacred vessels, order flowers, and care for plants.
They make sure the sanctuary is clean, dusted and well taken care of. They prepare candles for use at our liturgies. They prepare vessels used for the Eucharist.
They take care of the flowers that decorate our worship environment. They set the missal and attend to anything that needs care. If they see something out of place, they fix it. If something needs attention, they take care of it.
